  • ABOUT BOOTSTRAP MANILA

The Manila leg of the Startup AsiaBerlin Innovation Roadshow

In May 2016, the City Senate of Berlin and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH started organizing a city partnership initiative revolving around the startup ecosystems of Berlin, Bangalore, Manila, and Djakarta. This was launched at the Asia-Pacific Week 2016 held in Berlin, and attended by innovation community leaders from the partner cities to craft a framework of cooperation and knowledge sharing between ecosystems.

The result of the meeting at APW resulted in the Startup AsiaBerlin Roadshow where 30+ delegates from each ecosystem visits each other's cities to immerse themselves in the ecosystem, share their best practices and experiences, and establish relationships that will mutually benefit their respective startup cities.

Manila is represented by Impact Hub Manila and Launchgarage.
